A special announcement of this department has beenprinted, which will be furnished on application to the Secre-tary. LECTURES. As heretofore, the Normal will offer unusual privilegesthis summer in the way of lecture courses by distinguishededucators. A prominent lecturer will be at the school duringeach week of the term, and the discussions will be along thelines that are of interest to progressive teachers. It has been decided to limit the number of lecture dayseach week, so as to leave three or four afternoons open to fieldwork, recreation, and athletics. Hours have been carefullyarranged for the lecture courses to avoid conflict withclasses and other important features of the summer school.Friday, Dr. Charles H.
