| Description |
Bahasa Indonesia: Potret bangunan nan megah ini ialah Museum Adityawarman yang dibangun pada tahun 1974 dan kemudian diresmikan pada tahun 1977. Museum budaya ini hanya ada satu di Kota Padang dengan struktur bangunan menyerupai rumah adat suku Minangkabau yaitu Rumah Gadang. Museum tersebut diberi nama Adityawarman untuk mengenang jasa Adityawarman sebagai Raja Pagaruyuang yang pernah memerintah sekitar abad ke-14.
Hingga saat ini, keberadaan museum tersebut masih terjaga dan dilestarikan. Bagian dalam museum dijadikan pameran budaya untuk memperkenalkan warisan budaya Minangkabau kepada setiap generasi penerus bangsa terutama keturunan suku Minangkabau. |
