English: SUBMERGED HYDROELECTRIC PLANTS FOR ENERGY PRODUCTION, OXYGENATION OF SEABED AND ARTIFICIAL WELLING

Abstract

The state of the art in the exploitation of marine resources was conditioned by the difficult access to the deep sea off the oceans and by the impetuosity of the waves along the coast . Many have tried to exploit the movement of the waves to create electricity, but these systems do not have been very successful because it is difficult to control the force of the sea surface. It 'much easier to exploit the hydrostatic pressure, applying the hydraulic laws legislated by Bernoulli and the characteristics of incompressibility of water that allows water currents ducted independent from the surrounding static waters. In this patent application we propose submerged hydroelectric plants marine and in lake that exploit the hydrostatic head, which, in addition to producing electricity, produce artificially the well-known phenomenon of downwelling, which brings surface water into polluted seabed. It creates even the lifting on surface of nutrients and of the carbonates deposited, avoiding the decomposition and increasing of the natural fish production. Therefore, these systems are very convenient from the point of view of economy, energy and biological. Indeed, by applying very simple physical principles as that of communicating vessels it is possible to use the hydrostatic pressure to create a current of water in a submerged pipe, by means of an electric pump axial ducted, with very low energy consumption and exploit the kinetic energy of this current for feeding a hydraulic turbine connected to an alternator, which produces electricity. But even in terrestrial applications: "If it is possible to exploit the hydrostatic head to save energy by pumping water up to overcome the force of gravity, it is also possible to transform the hydrostatic energy with the help of atmospheric pressure, not raising but pushing waters static downwards, after intubation of the same” Applying synergistically the continuity equation of Bernoulli, the principle of Pascal on the transmission of the pressure in hydraulic circuits that simultaneously using electric pumps and turbines, we can produce the maximum energy in the descending phase of the water and consume the minimum of energy in the phase of lifting, creating open systems where the geodetic suction and delivery coincide (open vessel).
