She was making dells from bottles <K PUBLIC LJ ,RY AND T1LJR CHRISTMAS EVE only fairies abroad Christmas Eve. The airis full of them/ Anna Belle looked about her, and sureenough, it was almost like June bug season.She felt them whizzing past her, and at timestheir whirring wings fairly brushed hercheeks. Oh, how lovely it is! she exclaimed.How different it all looks from above! :Yes, dear, everything looks differentfrom above. Do you see that wee brownhouse far over in that meadow, all alone? Yes, replied Anna Belle; are they pooras crows? Toorer, they havent even any feathers,laughed the Fairy, as they gently floateddown, down, till they could peer into a win-dow of the little house. A mother sat by a table sewing. AnnaBelle watched to see that she was makingdolls from bottles. 83 ANNA BELLES She fashioned heads by placing a wad ofcotton in a piece of muslin.
