Description Stern view of the U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer USS Dewey (DLG-14). Dewey was underway from Bath Iron Works, Maine, to Boston, Massachusetts (USA), where she was commissioned on 7 December 1959. Note that she was originally fitted with the AN/SPQ-5 guidance radars.
