Description
日本語: 新橋駅汐留口前に設置されている『鉄道唱歌の碑』（1957年（昭和32年）10月4日建立）。中央銘板は大和田建樹直筆『鉄道唱歌』東海道篇の第1番の歌詞。その下部の碑文は安倍能成の揮毫。石碑上部には第1号機関車の模型が乗る。安倍能成による碑文は以下の通り。
鉄道唱歌の作者大和田建樹先生は安政四年（一八五七）四月廿九日愛媛縣宇和島に生まる
幼少國漢文に親しみ十五歳以後特に國学に志した
明治七年十八歳の秋上京遊学十七年東京大学講師翌年高等師範学校教授廿四年辞任
爾来又官仕せず門を開いて歌文を教え地方に出講し行餘謡曲能舞を嗜む
学は漢洋に亘り著述は辞典註釋詩歌随筆等百五十冊を越えたが丗三年鉄道唱歌東海道山陽九州奥州線磐城線北陸地方關西参宮南海各線の五冊を連刊就中汽笛一聲新橋をの一句に始まる東海道の部は普く卋に流布して津々浦々に歌われ鉄道交通の普及宣傳に絶大の貢献をなした
先生明治四十三年十月一日に歿す享年五十四
今年恰も生誕百年に當って先生の遺弟待宵舎同人の發起により東海道鉄道唱歌にゆかり深い新橋驛構内に碑を建て永く先生を記念する　昭和三十二年十月安倍能成
