Description
English: Statue of an actor in the costume of Old Silenus, a famous member of the troupe, and teatcher of Dionysus. He is holding a drum and an almost empty skin of wine. His features recall depictions of Socrates. Late 2nd (or 2nd -1st ?) century BC. Found in 1904 in the temple of Dionysus. Archaeological Museum of Delos, A 04123.
Čeština: Socha herce v kostýmu starého Siléna, slavného člena Dionýsova doprovodu a jeho vychovatele. Drží buben a téměř prázdný měch vína. Jeho rysy připomínají vyobrazení Sókrata. Pozdní 2. století (nebo 2. až 1. století) před n. l. Archeologické muzeum na Délu, A 0423.
