Description
Français : Station de surveillance du gaz résiduel méthane émanant du bassin minier du Nord Pas de Calais, ici en Forêt de Saint Amand. Le site est entouré de murs, mais visiblement régulièrement visité. En raison des affaissements miniers, et de la remontée progressive des nappes, ce gaz (à effet de serre) nécessite surveillance.
English: Residual methane gas monitoring station in Hauts-de-France region (former Nord Pas de Calais mining area, here in the Saint-Amand forest). The site is surrounded by walls, but visibly regularly visited. Due to the mining subsidence and the progressive rise of groundwater, this gas (greenhouse gas) requires monitoring
