Description
English: Two women posing for a portrait, 1910-1920 Two women pose for a studio portrait wearing two different styles of dress. The woman on the right is wearing a light coloured long skirt and blouse. The blouse is made from broderie anglaise fabric. Around her neck she wears two strings of pearls and, on a chain, a locket with a miniature portrait on the front. The woman on the left wears a darker coloured dress, made of striped fabric and trimmed with dark lace around the elbows and neckline. She wears a light coloured blouse with a high collar under the dress. Both women wear their hair piled loosely on their heads.
