| Description |
English: Startops Reservoir, Tring Waves Breaking against embankment The east side of Startops Reservoir is the retaining embankment for Marsworth Reservoir and waves were lapping against the wall. It should be noted that the embankment is made of earth and the concrete facing is very necessary or it would soon collapse. A couple of years ago monitoring equipment was installed to check the embankment's safety. The picture was taken from the bird hide overlooking Startops Reservoir. |
