Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Star of India was built in 1863 as a full-rigged iron windjammer ship. After a career sailing from Great Britain to India and New Zealand, she became a salmon hauler on the Alaska to California route. She was retired in 1926 and restored in 1962-63, and she is now a seaworthy museum ship. She is the oldest ship still sailing and is a U.S. National Historic Landmark.

This is an image of a place or building that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the United States of America. Its reference number is 66000223.
