Description
English: The place of the former Barfüßertor has been marked on a German sidewalk in Barfüßerstraße in Marburg in the year 2013. The old building behind on the right side is the so called Barockhäuschen of Philipps University. Photo taken in March 2016. Begin of a virtual walkaround in old town, start from here. Deutsch: Im Belag des Bürgersteigs nachgezeichnetes Fundament des früheren Barfüßertors vor dem Torhaus der früheren Uni-Reithalle (Barockhäuschen). Mehrere Radabweiser an der Wand des Gebäudes (weitere Bilder unten). Von hier kann über die enge Treppe des romantischen Gehrensgässchens auf der Strassenseite gegenüber hoch zum Landgrafenschloss aufgestiegen werden; oder geradeaus über die ähnlich einer Fussgängerzone gestaltete Barfüßerstraße zum Marktplatz und Marburger Rathaus mit mehr Licht in der Nacht (allerdings mit Umweg weiter hoch zum Schloss). Für einen Computer nutzende Menschen: kleines Foto oben links mit der Maus oder den Link dort zum nächsten Bild anklicken um einen virtuellen Aufstieg durch die Altstadt zu beginnen. Lift für "Gehfaule" oder ungeduldige Aufwärtsspringer: ... → eine geschwinde Abkürzung hoch zum Landgrafenschloss.
