Valery Pavlovich Polotnov (born 1949) is a Russian painter, a People's Artist of the Russian Federation, a secretary of the Russian Union of Artists, a member of the art group Romantics of Realism. Valery Polotnov is known for his numerous landscape paintings featuring views of the Russian provinces.
The stamp of Russia, 15.00 Rubles, 17 June 2013, PTC Marka Catalogue No 1705, Michel No 1937. Coated paper, varnish coating, bronze paste. Offset printing. Perforation: comb 11½×12. Size of the stamp: 37×50 mm. Print run: 300,000.
