Stamp of Burundi (1st Republic); 1971; commemorative stamp of the issue "Easter 1971"; issue of 6 stamps + 4 blocks à 3 stamp (Michel Block 48A+B, 49A+B ("A"=perforated, "B"=imperforate, Block 49 = airmail); Depicted is the stamp BDI Michel No. 750A which is shows as central motive a detail of the painting "Resurrection of Christ" ("resurrezione di cristo") by Sodoma (1477-1549) original name; Giovanni Antonio Bazzi).; This painting was created in 1534 in the style of the Italian Renaissance and is contemporary located at the "Museo e Gallerie Nazionali di Capodimonte" in Naples (Italy).; Unfortunately this stamp was postmarked with a unreadable CTO.
