Description
English: Stained glass window, Abbey House Museum. Abbey House (originally Kirkstall Abbey's gatehouse) was the home of Colonel w:Thomas Walter Harding (1843–1927), an industrialist and civic figure in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who moved to Hartsholme Hall, Lincolnshire (1902) and Madingley Hall, Cambridgeshire (1906), which he restored. Two escutcheons form part of the window. Left: arms of Thomas Walter Harding: Argent, on a bend nebuly azure between two bees volant proper three martlets or. See also 266111 where they are visible above the arch and 260785 for an interior view.
