Description
English: A motley crew lineup of buses belonging to Stagecoach Kingston upon Hull (now Stagecoach in Hull), pictured in the era of the original version of Stagecoach's UK wide corporate livery.

From the nearest along the line, they are:

  • Bus 244 (reg. F144 BKH), Dennis Dominator / East Lancs E-Type

243 & 244 are part of the batch of ten Dennis Dominator double-deckers with East Lancs E Type bodywork, bought new by Kingston Upon Hull City Transport (KHCT) in 1988 (numbered 142 to 151, reg. F142-151 BKH). KCHT became a Stagecoach subsidiary in 1994.

734 is a 1999 MAN 18.220 single-decker with Alexander ALX300 bodywork, bought new by Stagecoach Kingston upon Hull.

The E??? KYR registered buses are 1987 built Leyland Olympian double-deckers with Northern Counties bodywork. They were all from the batch of 28 such vehicles bought by London Buses to be leased to their experimental low-cost unit, Bexleybus (numbered 1-28, registered E901-928 KYR). The buses were not to London specification, but were single-doored and to the Greater Manchester specification (having been part of an uncompleted order for that operator). When the Bexleybus operation failed in 1991, the whole batch was returned. They were subsequently sold, some going to Newcastle Busways, others to the Mersyside operator Fareway (3 coach seated examples in the batch, no.s 2 to 4, were exported to Singapore as tour buses.
