Description
English: This post office, opened in 1916 is located at 400 1st Avenue N, St Petersburg. At the time it was built, it was the only open-air post office in the world. When the post office opened in 1917 the mail was delivered by bike, today this is one of the few areas in the United States to continue this tradition.
