Description
English: The main altar in the Saint Sacrament chapel in St. Michael and Gudula cathedral in Brussels. Made by the Goyers brothers in 1849 in neo-gothic style. Behind the altar, the window is the work of Jean Baptiste Capronnier. Archduke Ferdinand and Archduchess Isabelle, governors of Spanish-Netherlands between 1598 and 1621 are buried in front of this altar. Behind the altar there is a collection of reliquaries and other religious objects.
Magyar: A brüsszeli Szent Mihály- és Szent Gudula-székesegyház északi kápolnájának (Saint Sacrament) oltárja. A Goyers testvérek faragták tölgyfából 1849-ben neogótikus stílusban. Az oltár előtt temették el Izabella spanyol királyi hercegnőt és VII. Albert osztrák főherceget, akik Habsburg-Németalföld kormányzói voltak 1598 és 1621 között. Az oltár felett található üvegablak Jean Baptiste Capronnier műve és a 19. században készült. Az oltár mögött számos ereklyetartót állítottak ki.
