Tablets in the South Aisle, with coloured shields, left to right, bottom row:

  • Per pale gules and argent, three leopards' faces (Browne: Per pale gules and sable, three leopards' heads or, See Papworth, John Woody, Alphabetical Dictionary of Coats of Arms Belonging to Families in Great Britain and Ireland, Vol.II, London, 1874, p.930); in pretence, Argent, a chevron sable between three Moor's heads couped proper (Ives). Crest : A stork (Browne of Islington: A crane azure, beaked and legged or, the crown of the head gules, in the beak an ear of wheat gold). For Robert Ives Browne, Esq., late of this City, who died August 22 1819, aged 56 ; Mary Ann his wife, who died March 11, 1854, aged 84."
  • Azure, a bend argent cotised or between two falcons volant of the third (Justice (or Testis)) (Vert/Azure, a bend ermine cotised or between two falcons rising of the third (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884, p.551 "Justice of Knighton, Staffordshire")); impaling, on the dexter side: Sable, a cross between four crescents argent (Barnham) (Sable, a cross engrailed between four crescents argent (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884, p.51 "Barnham of Southwick, Hampshire, etc, Baronets"); and impaling: Gules, four bars and in chief three annulets argent; Crest : It is gone. " Underneath lieth ye body of Elizabeth ye late wife of Abraham Testis, who departed this life ye 11th day of April, 1718; and also ye body of Severale of their Children, Here also lieth ye body of Elizabeth ye 2nd wife of ye said Abraham Testis, who died Nov' 15, 1723, and 2 of their children.'
  • Argent, a chevron engrailed sable, between three swan's heads erased of the last, beaked gules. Squire; impaling, Per chevron or and azure, three mullets counter-changed, Day. Crest : An elephant's head ducally gorged and erased or, Squire. For " Edwsurd Squire, Esq., of this city, who died October 25, 1819, aged 70; and Ann his wife, who died March 10, 1818, aged 66.
  • (out of vision) Ives, in pretence. Or, on a chief indented gules, three crescents argent (Harvey. The field should be erminois). For "John Ives, Esq., of this city, merchant, who died Oct. 21, 1773, in his 43rd year. Elizabeth his wife, who died June 15, 1815, aged 76. John, their son, born Oct 11, 1767, died Jan 6, 1824 ; Harriet, daughter of John and Elizabeth Ives, died Jany 16, 1800, in her 31st year.'
