From: Farrer, Edmund, Church Heraldry of Norfolk, Vol 3 (1893) Lynn, Norwich, Thetford, Yarmouth, p.41 [1] [2] Arms: Erminois, on a chief indented gules three crescents argent (Harvey) impaling: Argent, a chevron sable between three Moor's heads couped proper wreathed of the field (Ives) " Thomas Harvey, Esqr., of this City, merchant, who died July 16, 1772, aged 62 years, having been Sheriff, Alderman, and Mayor, he was son of John Harvey, Esq.; also for Lydia, his wife, daughter of Jeremiah Ives, who died in 1804, aged 86 ; also for Jeremiah Ives Harvey, Esq., Sheriff, Alderman, and Mayor of Norwich, who died Jany 7, 1814, aged 68; and for Mary, his wife, who died Nov' 14, 1822, aged 76."
