Description
English: This image shows the look-out at the Kuhberg ("cow mountain") in Stützengrün, Saxony, Germany. It is a three segment panoramic image.
Deutsch: Foto von Westen: Dieses Bild zeigt den im Jahr 1970 um eine Etage auf 20 Meter aufgestockten Aussichtsturm auf dem Kuhberg in Stützengrün. Das Bild wurde aus drei Einzelaufnahmen zusammengesetzt. Das kleine rote hölzerne Haus neben dem Turm ist ein Blockhaus. Es stammt noch aus der Zeit, als der Turm (eröffnet am 22. Juli 1894) ganz neu war. Dieses Häuschen war bis in die 1930er Jahre das einzige gastronomische Angebot auf dem Berg. Dann wurde die Gastwirtschaft gebaut, die "Neues Berghaus" genannt wurde. Diese Gaststätte wurde nach 1990 aufgestockt und erweitert zu einem Hotel. Die Besitzer nennen es "Berghotel Kuhberg" (Webseite der Gaststätte)
