Description
English: Description from Flickr: "This skull is in a museum, at Ecbatana ancient hills of Hamadan city, Iran.

The description behind it wrote: "Squat Burial. (Late in the 2nd millenium BC till early in the 1st millenium BC). Place of discovery: Kurijan hills"

As I know, in some old age, our ancestors used to bury the dead in such squat manner, just like a chrysalis (germ) of a baby, and with some foods near them, because they thought they will reborn such as a baby...

Added to flickr explore (interestingness) page of 2 September 2006."
