Description
English: 170515-N-OL837-013 SPOKANE, Washington (May 15, 2017) Chief Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician Ian Brody, from Port Falls, Idaho, attached to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 1, talks to Freeman High School students about EOD robots during a Spokane Navy Week static display. Since 2005, the Navy Week program has served as the Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country without a significant Navy presence, with 195 Navy Weeks held in 71 different U.S. cities. The program is designed to help Americans understand that their Navy is deployed around the world, around the clock, ready to defend America at all times.
