Description
English: Spindle whorl; small, cast lead spindle whorl of unknown date. The whorl is of roughly biconical shape, although one side seems to have been flattened. It is decorated on both faces with moulded lines forming a rough star-shaped pattern. The whorl has a large, circular hole in the centre. The metal has an even, thick, cream patina over its surface. Diameter 25.6mm, thickness 10.0mm, weight 30.59g
