Spindle whorl of unknown date; biconical whorl decorated with pellets
Description
English: Spindle whorl; cast lead spindle whorl of unknown date. The whorl is biconical in shape and has a straight-sided, sub-circular hole through the centre. Both faces are decorated with six large, moulded pellets spaced around the whorl. The whole has a thick, even, cream-brown patina over its surface. Diameter 29.6mm, thickness 13.6mm, weight 50.10g
