| Description | Spectra of note g' (392 Hz) played with an electric guitar using normal picking (upper diagram) and pinched harmonic picking (lower diagram). The same amplifier settings (heavy distortion) were used in both cases. The spectra were calculated using FFT on a 24 bit / 96 kHz sound sample. |
