DescriptionSpecial train leaving Larne Harbour station (geograph 3457390).jpg |
English: Special train leaving Larne Harbour station In 1977, Larne hosted the traditional 12th July gathering for the County Antrim lodges of the Orange Order. This resulted in a large number of special trains, mostly composed of UTA built MPD railcars, leaving Larne Harbour station in the afternoon bound for Belfast. MPD No. 50 (built 1959 from a 1933 coach body - withdrawn 1980) takes one such working out of the harbour station. |
