Description
English: Marine Gen. John F. Kelly, the commander of U.S. Southern Command, hands the U. S. Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH) unit colors to Army Brig. Gen. Kurt L. Sonntag officially making him the commander of SOCSOUTH during an assumption of command ceremony Sept. 16 at the command's headquarters in Homestead, Fla. Sonntag is the 14th commander in SOCSOUTH history.
