Description A Soviet Project 61 guided missile destroyer (NATO reporting code: "Kashin-class") passes close by the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVA-42), in the Mediterranean Sea, 25 September 1967. Franklin D. Roosevelt, with assigned Attack Carrier Air Wing 1 (CVW-1), was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea from 24 August 1967 to 19 May 1968.
