Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is a farmer's personal notebook from 1895. It was used mainly to keep up with appropriations of stock or money owed. I found it among my great grandmother's belongings, and we think it might have belonged to her grandfather, who we know owned a farm in either Georgia or Alabama. But, regardless of who wrote in it, we know it's from 1895 because of the dates listed in the notebook itself; flip through the pages and you'll find it. The notebook itself and its design could very well be a few years older than that, but I have found no information on it. Fragment cropped from page 47.
