  • Scope and content: Location: Saigon, Vietnam. VIETNAM ARMED FORCES DAY. A parade honoring the Vietnamese Armed Forces and the first anniversary of Premier Nguyen Cao Ky is held in the compound of the Republic of Vietnam Staff General Headquarters at Tan Son Nhut Airbase. Lt Gen Nguyen Thieu, Deputy Prime Minister (center), stands at the War Dead Monument prior to placing the memorial wreath for Premier Nguyen Cao Ky (right).
