Summary[edit]

Description
English: South Korean President Park, Geun Hye, senior government officials, and bereaved family members joined together March 25 at the Daejon National Cemetery on the first annual West Sea Defense Day to demonstrate the nation's resolve in the face of North Korean aggression. The memorial will be celebrated each year on the fourth Friday in March to honor the fallen of a series of unprovoked attacks by the North near the Northern Limit Line in the West Sea.
