| Description |
English: South Bank railway station site, Yorkshire Opened in 1882 by the North Eastern Railway on the line from Middlesbrough to Saltburn, this station closed in 1984 when it was replaced by a new South Bank station, half a mile to the east. View east towards the new station, Grangetown and Saltburn. The camera is roughly over the site of the island platform which was removed in order to straighten the eastbound track. |
