Summary[edit]
DescriptionSouq Al Jubail.jpg |
English: Designed in traditional Islamic style with arches and domes, Souq Al Jubail attracts more than half a million shoppers every month. The more than 100 species of colourful creatures on display provide plenty of fantastic photo opportunities too.
The fish souk is part of the huge Souq Al Jubail, which also includes sections for fruit and vegetables, dates and meat. It is located between Corniche Road and Sharjah Creek, near the Central Souk. Don’t miss the auction of the day’s catch, held twice daily around 6am and 4pm. The market is open daily from 6am until late, and closes for Friday prayers from 11:30am until 2pm. |
