Sophies Verkleidung einer südamerikanischen Indianerin dürfte auf die mitgebrachten Objekte und die Erzählungen ihres Onkels Graf Johann Moritz von Nassau-Siegen zurückgehen, der niederländischer Gouverneur von Brasilien war und 1644 nach Den Haag zurückkehrte.
