Summary[edit]

Description
English: Rear view of a Song Thrush (Turdus philomelos). This view shows its fairly uniform brown dorsal plumage, contrasting with its lighter and flecked ventral colouration. Taken at Albert Park, Auckland; I was feeding the less timid House Sparrows and Rock Pigeons (see e.g. here), but this bird was also interested. It was quite close by, in this photo standing on the edge of the paving around the fountain area. You can see some buttercup and clover in the grass.
