Summary

[edit]
Description Melvern Lake in the Kansas City District boasts an entrance sign that is lit by two LED lights powered by solar energy. The maintenance crew at the lake completed the project in one day. The price tag for the project came in just under $900 and will save hundreds of dollars annually in electricity costs. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photo by Diana McCoy
