Jens Finne Borchgrevink var sønn av direktør ved Røros Kobberverk Leonhard Christian Borchgrevink (1698-1772) og ektefellen Magdalene Brun Borchgrevink (1705-1753). Bror av sogneprest Henrik Christian Borchgrevink (1732-1807).
English: Jens Finne Borchgrevink (1737-1819), Norwegian clergy. Son of Leonhard Christian Borchgrevink, b. 1698, d. 19/9 1772, director of Røros Copper Works and his wife Magdalene Brun Borchgrevink (1705-1753). Brother of Henrik Christian Borchgrevink (1732-1807). Oil painting by the danish painter Hans Clio from 1775. Photographed by Erik Olsen in 1897 in connection with the exhibition Trondhjems 900-årsjubileum.
