English: From August 5th through 7th, 1919, employees of the Imperial Candy Company hiked and relaxed at Mount Rainier National Park. Here, the group members, wearing suits, dresses, and hiking attire, pose for a panoramic group photo. The top of Mount Rainier can be seen in the distance. In 1906, Samuel David McKinstry and a partner founded the Imperial Candy Company in Seattle. It was later renamed the Society Candy Company. Handwritten on negative: Candy Makers, Rainier Nat.
