DescriptionSledgehammer Brigade holds SHARP Summit 140623-A-BZ612-001.jpg |
English: The 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division held its Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) summit, June 23, 2014, at the Kelley Hill Recreation Center. The brigade command team, Col. Charles Costanza and Command Sgt. Maj. Michael Green, SHARP representatives and key leaders lengthened and shared their knowledge about SHARP. "It's important to know and talk to your Soldiers daily," said Constanza. "We have to educate and push the information out to the lowest level." The summit began with opening remarks from Col. Charles Costanza followed by a video from Army Gen. Ray Odierno. Through-out the summit they viewed videos and power point presentations, listened to several guest speakers and separated into small working groups. "When you get out of power point and steer away from video you create a discussion," said Green. "No one said a word when we were watching the slides, but once we start interacting and asking questions, it turned into a discussion," Green added. The day ended with comments from the brigade command team and an after action review.
