Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A Mjölkhare (i.e. "Milk hare") spewing up stolen milk in a receptacle. The "Milk hare" was a kind of Bjära or Tilberi, a magical creature in Swedish folklore which was used to steal milk from the neighbours' cows. Drawing after a wall painting from the late 15th century by Albertus Pictor in the porch of Härkeberga Church, Härkeberga Parish, Trögd Hundred, Enköping Municipality, Uppsala County, Uppland, Sweden.
