Description
Svenska: Sydskandinaviskt skogsrå (även kallat skogsfru, skogsjungfru, skogsnuva och skogstippa) med ihålig rygg sett i granskog. Skogsrået är här sett bakifrån och ser ut som en naken kvinna med långt rödblont eller gyllenblont hår. Man kan identifiera henne som ett skogsrå eftersom hennes rygg liknar en murken, ihålig stock. Detta utseende på skogsrået förekommer främst i Götaland i södra Sverige. Teckning och bildbearbetning av Gunnar Creutz.
English: South Scandinavian "Skogsrå" with hollowed back seen in spruce forest. The "Skogsrå" is a seductive, female forest spirit identical or closely related to the Danish "Ellekvinna", the Norwegian "Huldra", and the Norrlandic "Vittra". The "Skogsrå" is here seen from the back and looks like a nude woman with red or golden hair. She can be identified as a "Skogsrå" because her back looks like a hollowed, rotten tree trunk. This appearance is most common in Götaland in southern Sweden. Drawing and photoshoping by Gunnar Creutz.
