Deutsch: Das Foto zeigt eine sogenannte Sklavenfigur aus der Zeit der Hamburgischen Konvoischiffahrt (17./18. Jahrhundert). Die Figuren sollten zur Spendenbereitschaft der Bürger beitragen und an das Schicksal versklavter Hamburger Seeleute erinnern
English: The photo shows a so-called slave figure from the time of the Hamburg convoy shipping (17th / 18th century). The figures should contribute to the citizens' willingness to donate and remind of the fate of enslaved Hamburg seamen

Deutsch: Die Figur steht im Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte. Freihändiges Fotografieren ist dort grundsätzlich erlaubt. Mündliche Erlaubnis wurde von dortigem Museumspersonal eingeholt. Der Künstler der Figur ist nicht bekannt - aber sicher schon über 70 Jahre tot, da die Figur über 300 Jahre alt ist.
