A dozensmall fir boughs placed between the basket and shouldersserves ;is a cushion for the back, and gives the cool air achance to circulate .between. As soon as they reach campthe trout are placed in the cool corner of their spring housecellar. They get an early start for camp after dinner. Leaving theboat behind at this point, they conclude to go to camp by theway of the old supply road which is quite a tramp, and con-sidered pretty gamey.
