| Description |
English: Statue of Saint Liudger. Placed at the Prins Bernhardplein in Utrecht. It was made as an altarpiece in 1950 by Leo Jungblut for the Ludgeruschurch in Zuilen (Utrecht) where it as flanked by smaller sculptures of G.B.W. Schilte (Initiator of the building of the church) and Charlemagne. In 1977 the church was demolished and the statue was moved to the inner garden of the Ludgercentrum till 1998. Untill 2007 the statue stood at the inner garden of the Sint Jacobuschurch. Due to the wheater, the statue was severly damaged. In 2007 the statue was restored and placed at the little garden outside the church. |
