English: Madame Simonne Menier dressed in a kimono on board a steamship.Simonne Camille Marie Legrand was born on 28 October 1881, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. She married Georges Menier on 11 December 1903 in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and died 18 April 1972 in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. During the First World War, she was in charge with her husband, of the management of the military hospital installed in the Castle of Chenonceau from 1914 to 1918.
Français : Madame Simonne Menier vêtue d'un kimono à bord d'un navire à vapeur. Simonne Camille Marie Legrand est née le 28 octobre 1881, dans le 9ème arrondissement de Paris. Elle se marie avec Georges Menier, le 11 décembre 1903 dans le 16ème arrondissement de Paris et meurt le 18 avril 1972 dans le 8ème arrondissement de Paris. Au cours de la Première Guerre mondiale, elle a en charge avec son époux, de la gestion de l'hôpital militaire installé dans le château de Chenonceau de 1914 à 1918.
