You know that I have ever been proud of mybrother, and I think that every Sigma Phi Epsilon brothercan learn a great lesson from Kiffin. He and Victor Chap-man were two such heroic and noble souls as the world seesbut rarely. I wish all of us could live a little way up totheir standard. I am inclosing some photographs of Kiffin, and someclippings and articles which I think would interest the en-tire fraternity. As a personal favor to me, will you publishthe pictures and clippings, etc., in the Journal, so the brothersmay know a little better how Kiffin lived and died, and whatthose who watched his sublime character develop thoughtof him. I want to do something for Kiffin, and there is solittle I can do. I want others to know about him, and to KIFFIN YATES ROCKWELL

Some day soon the United Stateswill face a terrible war, and I hope all true Simga Phi Ep-silon men will be ready and willing to do their bit. Kiffinwas one of the greatest soldiers any American college frat-ernity has produced in many generations, and he has set ahigh standard for us all. I will stay on in France, I have many interests and manyfriends here, and there is much useful work I can do only here.The war bids fair to last at least another year, and I will con-tinue to occupy myself with my comrades who are fightingfor the Allies. On December 4th I will marry Mademoiselle MarieFrancoise Jeanne Leygues, of Paris and Villeneuve-sur-Lot. I wish I could run across for the Conclave, but after thewar I will come by Richmond and talk over life with you. With best regards to you, and good wishes
