Description
English: Mekhala versus Ream Eyso; symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Armed with her crystal sphere that throws lightning, Moni Mekhala, goddess of the waters, triumphs over Ream Eysaur, a demon whose ax produces thunder. These two metaphorical characters illustrate the victory of beneficial rains over the dry and stormy season, (source: the Amazon Angkor restaurant notice)- Cambodian classical dance in Siem Reap.- Cambodia.
