Română: Casa Haller este una din putinele constructii din Sibiu care pastreaza urmele Renasterii din arhitectura transilvaneana. Situata in inima Sibiului (Piata Mare nr. 10), ea intra in proprietatea lui Petrus Haller la 1537, acesta cumparand-o de la Michael Altemberger. P. Haller este cel ce initiaza lucrarile renascentiste la casa. Acest portal este una din acele lucrari. De notat este faptul ca in ampla curte a casei, pe latura estica, se pastreaza un turn-locuinta gotic.
English: The Haller House is one of the few constructions from Sibiu and Transylvania which preserves traces of the Renaissance. Located in the center of the old town (Piata Mare nr. 10), it was bought by Petrus Haller in 1537 from Michael Altemberger. P.Haller is the one who will give the house its renaissance look. This portal is part of the Renaissance decoration. The inner court of the house is dominated by a beautiful gothic tower, a patrician's residence. |
