| Description |
English: Found hanging from the trees of the Yasuni rainforests this asexual insect has a unique way of reproducing. An egg filled sack forms the main body. When they are ready, the hatchlings eat their way out of the sack building a body of completely different form. For a short time, this second body will remain attached to its mother, giving the insect its name Siamese Apod. |
